Greg is a well-known trial lawyer and is a passionate, innovative and caring advocate for the injured claimant.
He was called to the bar in 1981 and immediately founded the firm now known as Greg Monforton & Partners.
Greg is certified as a Specialist in Civil Litigation by the Law Society of Upper Canada. He is a Past-President of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association (OTLA). He is also listed in the 2016 LEXPERT® Directory as a leading practitioner in the area of Personal Injury Law. His peers selected him to be included in the 2016 edition of the Best Lawyers in Canada®
He is a member of the Advocates Society and the American Association of Justice (AAJ) and has made presentations to Annual Conventions of AAJ. He is also a former President of the Head Injury Association (Windsor-Essex County) and the former author of a weekly newspaper column “You and the Law” which appeared in the Windsor Star for over 10 years. He is also a past member of the Editorial Advisory Board of the Law Times.
Greg has also served on behalf of numerous charitable and public service organizations including: Windsor-Essex County Mental Health Association, Windsor-Essex Head Injury Association, Leonard’s Society of Canada, and a moot court judge and sessional lecturer at the University of Windsor, Faculty of Law.
