Andrew Dilworth is a litigation partner with the San Francisco-based law firm of Cooper, White & Cooper LLP. He counsels lawyers and law firms in California and nationwide on issues of professional responsibility. His practice focuses on the law governing lawyers, including the defense of legal malpractice actions and other litigation brought by or against lawyers, conflicts of interest, and other issues of legal ethics and professional responsibility. Mr. Dilworth is a current member of the California State Bar's Committee on Professional Responsibility and Conduct (COPRAC). He is a past Chair of the Bar Association of San Francisco's Legal Ethics Committee. He is also a member of the Association of Professional Responsibility Lawyers and the ABA Center for Professional Responsibility and Conduct. He serves as an Adjunct Professor of Law for the University of San Francisco School of Law where he has taught Legal Ethics for ten years. He also serves as special counsel to his firm on professional responsibility issues and risk management.
