John R. Rodman is a Trustee of the ABOTA Foundation and a member of ABOTA since 1990. He has taught trial practice at the ABOTA National Trial College on the campuses of Harvard University and Princeton University, and in ABOTA Masters in Trial Programs from Arkansas to Alaska. Mr. Rodman chairs the annual Colorado Teachers’ Law School and has been active with IAALS, ACTL and ABOTA, in creation of the Colorado Civil Access Pilot Program to expedite and facilitate civil jury trials in Colorado. He is Co-Chair of the ABOTA Long Term Planning Committee and ten-year past Co-Chair of the ABOTA Membership Committee. He has been a member of the International Association of Defense Counsel, is one of three Governor-appointed lawyers of the 2nd Judicial District- Judicial Nominating Commission, and has tried more than 100 civil jury trials to verdict.
